FluidSIM® 5 is a comprehensive software for the creation, simulation, instruction and study of electropneumatic, electrohydraulic, digital and electronic circuits.

All of the programme functions interact smoothly, combining different media forms and sources of knowledge in an easily accessible fashion. FluidSIM® unites an intuitive circuit diagram editor with detailed descriptions of all components, component photos, sectional view animations and video sequences. As a result FluidSIM® is perfect not only for use in lessons but also for the preparation thereof and as a self-study programme.
Professionals also get their money's worth: The new simulation core need not fear a comparison with more expensive special programmes. Despite complex physical models and precise mathematical procedures simulation is amazingly fast.

FluidSIM® also provides a whole range of possibilities for communication with other software via OPC and thanks to the support of Festo EasyPorts a link up to real hardware is also possible.

For FluidSIM® Version 3.x and 4.x user:
FluidSIM® 5 is backward compatible with the version 3 and 4. This means that circuits that have been created with the previous version can still be used with the new version. Due to the new physical modeling and the expanded component properties not all functions of the version 5 are available for circuit files of version 3 and 4. In these cases, FluidSIM brings up a message. Mostly, it is enough to replace some components of the circuit by new components from the library.
In some cases, circuits that could not be simulated satisfactory with the previous version now behave more realistic. This is especially the case when dynamic effects such as pressure increase or mass inertia are important for the system function.
Also your existing presentation files can be used with FluidSIM 5. Although the didactics material has been completely revised, presentations containing material of the previous version are still supported.
